The Forem began as founder Alli Young’s idea for a scalable learning and development platform that would let leaders connect and mentor others. Tanooki partnered with the team from a pitch deck through an MVP that helped secure funding and on through ongoing development support.
Starting with Sprint Zero, Tanooki identified users, user flows, and the objects in the system. The resulting InVision prototype supported fundraising and product validation before the team moved into development.
Tanooki continued to support development, design, product and project management, and technical advisory, including hiring support for The Forem’s founding engineer. The original source reports additional funding rounds and growth with clients including Google, Yahoo, Nasdaq, Fox, and Univision.
